Andreina is a multidisciplinary cultural arts dancer, musician, community organizer, and anthropologist from Maracay, Venezuela. She loves to garden, read poetry, hang out with friends, play music and dance. Her father, Juan Jose, is her biggest dance and spiritual role model. Andreina is a senior apprentice of master drummer & dancer Dr. Djo Bi from Cote D'ivoire. You can see her at local African dance classes and community events, and also performing with her band, The Native Union. 

 

 

 

Joshua Strodtman is an African drummer from Indiana.  He began composing on the piano at age 8 and quickly adopted the guitar and drums as tools for creating classical music, folk, Hip-Hop and Rock songs with a message of social justice. At 14 he began studying American jazz, funk, and soul music and by 19 was playing drum set for African American gospel churches in Indianapolis.  He is the founder of 2 multi-cultural community centers in Indianapolis: United States of Mind (2002) and Earth House Collective (2008) Joshua currently lives in Sebastapol, California, where he continues to teach and perform the Rhythms of his master Dr. Djo-Bi.
